How I Get Around

I can use different tools to get around when I go to the pool.

This is my 'water leg'. It's a prosthesis that is made to go in the water. I like to use my water leg when I'm walking around the pool and playing at the beach. My 'water leg' is an old prosthesis that my prosthetist fixed up for me. It does not rust.

I also like to swim without any tools. Sometimes it feels good to have nothing on my little leg.  I can still swim fast when I kick with one foot.

It's fun to wear fins. I can wear a special fin on my little leg or on my other foot. Wearing fins can help me swim fast and makes my kicks powerful.

Crutches and wheelchairs are also very helpful. I like having different ways of getting around. There's nothing that can stop my fun!
